My pay would be reduced to the minimum of the scale of pay of the Typist Gr.II (Rs.6,080 – 9,830/-) as I was not eligible for protection of pay as ordered in G.O.(P)211/05/Fin dtd. As such I was given protection of pay under Rule 37 (b) of Kerala Service Rule Part I. My appointment as Typist Gr.II was also in the same time scale of pay. The scale of pay of my earlier appointment in the Police Department was Rs.6,080 – 9,830/- in the 2004 Revision.
